The Swedish singer-songwriter Anna Lidman approached me with a selection of songs that were crying out to be orchestrated. We combined her original voice with contemporary classical instruments, creating a unique chamber pop aesthetic. 

The EP was recorded at Emil Berliner Studios in Berlin. Besides co-writing the music, arranging, orchestrating, and playing the piano, I also produced the project and saw it through to its completion with a release on my label Testklang in 2020. 

The orchestrations feature traditional and extended performance techniques for a chamber ensemble consisting of piano, double bass, acoustic guitar, percussion, harp, a selection of recorders, and French horn.
